Who Am I?

I build systems that turn the open web into data a business can act on. Most recently that means an LLM-powered crawling platform inside Palantir Foundry: identifying, extracting and paginating across thousands of company websites a day, feeding marketplaces data used across Ringier's businesses.

Before that I built and ran the crawling and processing platform at Ringier South Africa — user-configurable pipelines that scrape, process and distribute market intelligence in near real time, in C#, Python, Vue and React on AWS.

I started out in industrial software: a refinery modernisation that replaced a dozen standalone tools with one platform wired to scales, label printers and PLCs, and a safety and operational-intelligence suite deployed to twelve mining sites that won the 2018 Health and Safety Software Award.

I am a full-stack developer by training (.NET, SQL, TypeScript) who now spends most of the day in data: pipelines, extraction quality, and the unglamorous work of making a crawl dependable at scale.
